Dear CSW Faculty Affiliates,
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Thinking Gender, CSW's annual graduate student research conference, we have added some new features. It will take place over two days, April 23 and 24, in the Grand Horizon Ballroom of Covel Commons and will feature a keynote, a networking luncheon, workshops, and a poster session, as well as panel presentations. On April 23 at 2:45 pm, the conference will open with a keynote address, Body Modifications: Violence, Labor, and the Subject of Feminism, by Rebecca M. Herzig of Bates College. Her new book, Plucked: A History of Hair Removal, has just been published by NYU Press.
More information on the conference is included below. Attached are PDFs of the flyers for the conference, keynote, and workshops. I hope that you will help us to publicize the conference by sharing the information and flyers with your students and colleagues.
Thanks so much for your continued support of CSW.

With all best wishes,

Brenda
