Gender, Sexuality, & Human Rights in the Context of Global Health
As you may know, the UC system is in the planning stages of a UC-wide
School of Global Health. (See http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/news/article/18579)
The proposed school, which would be the UC’s first multi-campus,
system-wide school, will integrate the expertise of UC faculty in
health sciences, social sciences, law, business and engineering to
tackle global health issues. The school will be designed around
approximately five multi-campus Centers of Expertise, each focused on
a separate global health issue.
Faculty members at any UC school who may be interested in contributing
to a brainstorming session about a possible Center of Expertise
concerned with gender, sexuality, and human rights in the context of
global health to be held at UCLA on Oct. 23-24 should contact Lara
Stemple at UCLA School Of Law at [log in to unmask]
