Dear CSW Faculty Affiliates,

I am writing to share with you a new mini-newsletter published by CSW. It's called "Spotlight on Faculty Research at UCLA." Each issue has a theme and presents short articles on recent research and activities by CSW Faculty Affiliates. I hope that you will share the issues with your colleagues.

The first issue, November 2014, "Law and Human Right" featured Lara Stemple, Tzili Mor, and a list of recent publications by CSW Faculty Affiliates in the UCLA School of Law.

The second, January 2015, "Affect Theory: Embodiment and the Archive," was compiled by Dana M. Linda, a doctoral student in Comp Lit. It features Purnima Mankekar, Marissa López, a report on the 2014 Human Rights Archives Symposium (sponsored by the Archival Education and Research Initiative (AERI) and the UCLA Center for Information as Evidence, Department of Information Studies, Department of English, and the UCLA Library), and a list of recent publications by CSW Faculty Affiliates.

Each issue is available as a PDF on the CSW website:

The individual articles are also on the new CSW blog: http://cswfacultyspotlight.blogspot.com/

I hope you will let me know if you would like to have your research featured in an upcoming issue.

With all best wishes,

Brenda
