THINKING GENDER 2012 CONFERENCE COORDINATOR

The Center for the Study of Women (CSW) seeks applications for the Thinking Gender 2012 Conference Coordinator.  This position is an exciting opportunity for a graduate student with a scholarly interest in research on women, sexuality and gender. 

 

The paid position is open to current UCLA graduate students who have or will be advanced to doctoral candidacy by Fall 2011.  The Coordinator will plan and manage the event in conjunction with CSW staff.  The conference coordination will run from approximately August through February. 

 

Thinking Gender is an annual public conference that draws graduate students from across the disciplines--humanities, social sciences, life sciences, arts, law, education, public health, and public policy--to share feminist research on women, sexuality and gender.  The conference will be held on February 3, 2012.   To find additional information, please visit our website at

q  Transcript (unofficial copy is acceptable)

q  Letter of Recommendation from a faculty member who can speak to applicant’s organizational skills. (Letter should be sealed in an envelope with recommender’s signature across the back flap.)
