Dear All,
CSW welcomes Faculty Curator Grant
applications from formal or informal research groups or from faculty who wish
to coordinate a lecture series or workshop with a department or other research
center. The deadline has been extended to Thursday, February 26,
2009.
CSW will award from $3000 to $5000 per
quarter to fund up to three presentations by outside speakers whose work
pertains to a proposed programming concentration. While those awarded
faculty curatorships will be responsible for selecting the potential speakers,
all other logistics of the speaker's campus visit will be arranged by CSW
staff. Award monies will be used for direct costs associated with
bringing in outside speakers (honoraria, travel, lodging, receptions).
One project will be funded for the Fall and Winter quarters of the 2009-2010
academic year.
